What a spectacular day on the water. Didn't get to keep any keepers but it was great anyway. Saw a pod of 30 to 40 Orcas swim by and they were jumping clear out of the water. Was an awesome sight. Wasn't much happening for salmon after that so I decided to try for a ling. Dropped the line down and about 5 mins later hoooked a nice 40 lb halibut. Put up a good fight but sure was a shame to have to let it go. First one with the new boat looking foward to a lot more.
