no adipose fin

anyone know what to do if you catch a spring with no adipose fin?
its not a coho.
im wondering if im suppose to report it.

Cut the head off clean it up a bit if you feel like it. Fill out the tags and put it on the head. tags are near most cleaning stations there should be some around and toss it in the bucket which is at most cleanin stations also. They will mail you where the fish is from.

great.. theres no cleaning station at the comox harbour. i think the only place is kitty/bates to get a tag...

Tmit22 There is a fish cleaning station at Comox Harbour. You can find it between the third and fourth fingers on your right when you approach the ramp. There is also a district DFO office you can drop off the head. Where did you pick up the fish? GLG

thanks glg.. no wonder i couldnt find it..
i picked up the fish north of the hornby waling station. the seals were out far and i was fishing the shelf at about the 100 ft mark.
first picked up 7 dogs. speed was at about 3.25 mph triing to keep them off. fish was full of small fry..
