I raced to Nanaimo, hung out at the ramp for awhile trying the buy fish LOL Seen Fishing Guide, and Jeffywestcoast at the ramp. Grabbed my new unit and a bucket of KFC and hit the highway. Almost considered installing it last night as I traded my chart card yesterday for a platinum card and now don't have the maps I want till installed.

Going to take the family out fishing this morning and try and install this afternoon

Cant wait to try this new unit out..... Maybe Tomorrow

Wow you went with the simrad I'm jealous. Did you get a transducer too or are you just using your existing or the stock one? Are you going to network it with anything? That unit can hook into a lot of stuff including music. Nice purchase I've never seen one in action but the displays look great.

I bought blind after reading online reviews. I am just going to hook up my 50/200 to it to start. Will likely upgrade to an Airmar. May just toss a radar on later the summer and a fuel sensor. At that point I am not sure if I will go any further. Well see what Laura lets me do

Good choice! Love my NSS12. Make sure you've got the latest software update and update the sonar charts on your navionics card, the "fish n chip" mode is pretty awesome for structure fishing

Wow, the Georgia strt water temps are high at 65.8 deg
temps are hovering around 49 deg down here.

Speed and temp sensor plugs into your 50/200 transducer cable a couple feet before where it plugs into you unit. Simple install......
