Hi Guys ...

I just joined your group ... I'm mainly a fly fisher .. But.. I'm interested in all types of fishing ... I 'm new to the Island, but my wife was a Island girl in her youth and wanted to return to the island after I retired from 39 years in the mining industry. I have had my 1st hand at Pink Salmon fishing ..and some local river's and lakes .. hope to see more of you in the future...

Welcome! And welcome to the ranks of the retired, of which I am a member of 18 month standing myself. LOL

Lots of good information on here and folks were very helpful and encouraging to me when I joined two years ago with little or no ocean fishing experience (but quite a bit of freshwater).

The Island is a great place (we spent 24 years in Richmond/Vancouver !), with lots of good fishing.

You'll have fun....
