I bought my first GT2000's at Nikka's in Steveston for about $32.98 back in 1992 after running Daiwa's for like ever. I love them inspite of their few shortcomings. (Drag, reel handles, drum splitting (on GT4000's).

I will be looking forward to trying out the new ones in the future. In the mean time, if the drag washers can be switched, I would be all over that.
