Hey guys. I came across this forum by chance while searching info on salmon. I am getting into the salt game for the first time this year and so far have had the pleasure of reading many of your old and current threads. A great wealth of knowledge here and it's really going to speed up the learning curve for me. Most of my fishing experience comes from fly fishing the lakes in the interior and drifting the lower mainland rivers so the salt chuck is all new territory to me. Looking forward to reading more from you folks. Tight Lines.

Welcome aboard. Always good to have new members to add to the mix. Could stand to have some fishing reports from the mainland crowd on here too so feel free to post reports and pics from your area too. Good luck on the water and again, welcome.

Beers are in the fridge.... I don't feel like gettin up [wink wink]

Welcome aboard........ Throw up a pic of your first tyee......

Ditto on the Welcome Bif. What part of Dodge are you from and where are you going to be fishing? Lots of great posts and help here if you need it.

Long as you're not a Hawks fan, of course.

Cheers
Terry

Thanks for the warm reception guys. I live in Maple Ridge. Most of my Salmon fishing will be done in the local waters around Vancouver, but I am hoping to get a trip in to either P.A or maybe Sooke before the summer runs out. I have a 17.5' tin can that's beggin' for some 'nook blood. I'll definitely post my first Tyee(if I can drag one up) and definitely not a Hawks fan! See ya on the water.

oh man if you catch a tyee before me I'll be choked, its been 6 or 7 years and I haven't got there yet.

I'm going fishing.......
