Got my new plotter today, A Garmin 172c color
ordered on line from www.GPSdiscount.com
Best price i could find, and i looked all over the map.
$379 us dollars + $129 for the south/west island chip.
shipped it to my buddy in Seattle who brought it back across.
no sales tax,shipping,brokerage or duty.
now all i gotta do is figger out how to work it.[8D]

It's always the software that takes the most time to get jiggy with. I looked on the link for a Garmin 172 but couldn't see one. What size screen?

it's a 4-1/2" screen, which may seem small
but it's a lot bigger than my hand held was.
