Need New Tires

Need a set of new tires for my 2001 F350 Lariat. Most likely good All-Seasons as most driving is highway/towing boats but very little off road stuff. I am in the View Royal area of Victoria but can travel anywhere in the Vic area. Looking for a good deal, service, all that stuff.

Any and all help from the locals would be great.

Thanks in advance crew.

Just got some Toyo 10 ply 20" for my Ram. Final price $1475 all in. Alpine Tirecraft in Langford.

I just bought a set of the BF Goodrich all terrain KO2's from Westcoast tire for my F350. The KO2's apparently have increased lifespan over the old BFG's so I went with them. Lifespan is the knock on the old BFG's

1150.00 installed taxes all in (after a 75$ rebate)

The service at Westcoast is top notch.

I've found that Kal Tire provides superb after sales service. When I bought new tires for my GMC 3500 (Michelin AT2) they matched Costco's price on the tires.

X2 for Kal Tire and their warranty is covered at any of their stores in BC and Alta

Thanks for the info guys, I have got a few quotes so far and I am heading up to Costco shortly to see what they have.

Best so far has been Canadian Tire, Motomaster LT265/75R16 coming in at $160 per tire all in, balanced, taxes, drive away price.

I have read some great reviews and some not so great reviews on these tires.

Does anyone out there have a set of these?

Again, very little off road stuff, 90% highway, towing the odd boat but really not that far.

Cheers

you should look at Michelin tires, might pay a little more but the harder tread compound will give you a way longer tread life, I have two friends with f350's and that is the only tire they will buy for them..., I have chewed thru 2 sets of BFG KO 2 in my half-ton in the last 3 years

I bought a truck that had brand new Motomaster A/T and thought they would be crap.. Going on 55,000 km and still 5000-10,000 km to go.. No issues and have been quiet and good in the snow. Have been very impressed. I see they offer buy 4 and get one free.. Don't know if that applies to these tires..

I think I might bite the bullet and try these out, at $640 all in for 4 tires, worth a shot I guess. They are sale from $195 down to $116 at CT so it's not like they are super cheap tires.

Guess time will tell.

Thanks for all the info and insight into this crew. I'll keep you posted on what I find with these tires

Cheers

i put the motormaster at2's on my truck and have about 35k on them so far and they look like they get another 30k out of them! bought them when they were onsale which seems like it happens every few months

Wow. That doesn't sound good. How many k's did you get on those tires?

Probably not as many as i should have, my truck has a 355 posi = hard on rubber

Good luck with the tires Im sure they will do fine .

Check out the extended warrant ( I think it's a road hazard warranty) that Canadian Tire has for their tires. I think you pay a little more per tire but it supposedly covers them for replacement from anything that happens to them. Might be worth a look if you are going with them.
