Navionics Gold problem

I have a Lowrance LCX-27c chartplotter, and whenever I insert a Navionics Gold chip, and go to Map Data to set it up, the charts dont show up.The Navionics chip has a small indent in it, and I dont know if it short circited or just malfunctioned. I used the chip last year with no problems and hav'nt done anything to it. Has anybody else had the same problem? I really dont want to pay aother 100 bucks for a new one, as I've had it for only one season.

I had a 337c and when I had to switch maps, I would have the same problem,but I was always able to get it to switch.It was very frustrating at times, and I didn't do anything different from the time it worked to the TIMES!! it didn't. This is probably not much help,and it may be different problem than your experiencing. Keep trying.

Try it first in another Lowrance chartplotter before you ditch it.

First, make sure you have the updates for your unit?

Then call them... if it is the card, they will probably replace it?

I had a chip right out of the box that did not show anything. They replaced it but I had to pay for all of the shipping.
