Nautical Symbol Help?

Can anyone tell me what this nautical symbol
represents? It does appear anywhere in the symbols, abbreviations and terms publications for paper or electronic charts that I can see. It appears in areas of rock, sand, mud etc and in depths of + 300ft?

Military live fire/explosion zone ??? The last time someone played guess the symbol that is what it turned out to be. Not certain for sure it is this one.
