nanaimo fishing!!

hey everyone im heading out to nanaimo tommoroe near departure bay and and gabrola just wondering if there is any good jigging spots for cod or lings or possibly halibut and possibly for salmon.but anways how much out do u have to go for hailbut cause i herd there catching them now these days out there??

Out around entrance can be good for lings as far as for jiging for salmon can't say I have done In a long time but I would go between green marker and neck point in about 120 ish feet of water and jig close to bottom for halibut your guess as good as mine I also would like to here where guys have been going for them if any ????

Ive seen lots of guys jiggin for salmon off neck point lately but i'm not sure if they're getting anything. haven't seen any nets come out.
