They are going to ask fans for name suggestions: "Some of the possibilities offered by the club’s new owners are the Capitals, Dragons, Force, Royals, Tide or Thunder. Fans can vote for the team name at www.vicwhl.com or can also supply a write-in choice. What about Salmon Kings? “We’re definitely open to keeping that name, if fans vote for it, but the WHL already has similiar names such as the Edmonton Oil Kings and Brandon Wheat Kings,” he said."

I think Capitals or Royals are pretty good, for the Vic connection. But connecting it to fishing would be cool.

Holmes: not so much... Though we have a lot of seagulls, and they are commonly called S**t Hawks...so I guess it could work. ;-)
