so i am no welder,, what gauge alu can be done with this without maxing it out? thinking of learning and doing some hobby fab type stuff.
If you are interested I have a 252 for sale pm me for infoThats a great machine, if anyone sees a 251 I need another one.
Not totally accurate 1/2” aluminum I’d be looking for 350A. The average person using at home or for lighter work 1/4” or less this machines perfect but I’ll max out a dynasty 350 welding 1/2” that needs some serious juice to weld and some pre heating. This is speaking purely about aluminum. You can weld 1/2” steel all day with this machine and likely stay within duty cycle. Good price for quality equipment someone will be very happy. This will do 1/2inch aluminum to 14 gauge. I dont think you will be able to 'max out' this welder.
I think I had this priced high to begin with. Ive put it at 1800 on facebook/craigslist.
