I am looking at buying a Mercury Sea Pro 2-stroke 25hp for my 14ft Mirrocraft. The boat won't get a lot use, so I am trying to keep my input costs down and this a pretty good deal for a motor that is quite new. I realize it is a 2-stroke but aside from that, all the information I've gathered off the Net suggests that it is a rugged, reliable motor designed for use in saltwater (which it will be).
Anyone out there have experience with this line of motors (good or bad)?
