As kids out in Sidney we used to hang a heavy green cod line off of the floats at the dock at the end of Beacon Ave.
Bait if up with a big piece of meat and wait until the next morning to see what we had gotten. On a couple of occasions we were
surprised to find a huge Skate hanging on the line. We would drag it around to the shoreline and than ask the fishmonger if he wanted it.
Somedays we would all be going home sharing a Twenty dollar bill and the fishmonger would winch it onto the back of his truck and drive away with it . Great fishing day
