Lyman Lure sale

The shop in Kelowna is either moving or closing. At any rate there is a table with hundreds of blanks, 2nds and painted but not clear coated plugs, all unrigged for a buck a piece. Enterprise near the Tim's. I got 20 to play with. He also has lots in packages for more but still cheap.

I know the company changed hands a few years back and seemed like quality went down some at the same time too. Be a shame if it did. You should go back and buy em all.

Yeah really. Where did you hear this? At a garage sale of theirs?

There is a sign on the door that just says "Sale". I heard they were closing, but the fellow said they were moving. I didn't want to pry. The previous owner sold the company when he was struck by ALS, which did what it always does. I can't speak to the quality of their new stuff, but the previous owner and his father stayed on for a while to help the new owner with the transition and training.

I'll have to go see them again! , the new updated plug paint schemes are not great, but it would be a sad day to see them pack up and leave if that's the case.

I have a case full of some of the popular old colors that work like dynamite on big bows in Okanagan lake!

Wow. Checked out "fishinator" plugs and they look indistinguishable from Lyman's. Hard to tell from a picture but they sure do look alike.

Went on Lyman's site and used the contact us link and asked if they're moving or shutting down or what? Haven't heard anything yet but will post up their reply.
