It’s $25.6 at Slegg and Windsor. 2x4x8’ is under $5 now. Truss prices are dropping. Only was an extra $120 to vault my m/b trusses for my addition.1/2” ply is at $30 a sheet now. I bought at double that 6 weeks ago
Certainly not , and more lateral bracing would kinda defeat the purpose , even with rebar stakes thru 2x4 sleepers. I've always preferred the two stage pour, footings then walls.Yes with the right conditions you can mono pour on a fabric footing. As always, it is soil character that is the ruling factor: if you're struggling to drive decent stakes in all those pebbles, should you be adding wall forms to the load?
Little quickie stuff like deck piers I'll do as a mono. For a building, nuh uh. Loss of accuracy is not worth it. Snap fresh lines on the footings after they're stripped. Now they don't move.
Yeup. Funny that nobody is talking about it now though. It's nearly as high as before.Nice to see that the crazy is getting going again this year. Homedepot 2x4’s are back up to 9 buck. That puts a hold on my spring projects. I would rather put fuel in the boat at this point
We'll all start taking abut it April 1st when we're not allowed to fish and then find we can't afford to do the project we told our wives we would do in April.Yeup. Funny that nobody is talking about it now though. It's nearly as high as before.
We all bought it at the high prices before, just the same as everybody kept on buying new vehicles with jacked up prices. We've set the precedent that we're okay paying ******** prices. All bets are off now.Yeup. Funny that nobody is talking about it now though. It's nearly as high as before.
I think you hit the nail on the head there. They've realized how much more they can make working together to screw us even harder. No need for competition anymore. We all bought it at the high prices before, just the same as everybody kept on buying new vehicles with jacked up prices. With the price of gas these days, you should park the boat and get to those spring projects.Nice to see that the crazy is getting going again this year. Homedepot 2x4’s are back up to 9 buck. That puts a hold on my spring projects. I would rather put fuel in the boat at this point

years ago our largest competitor used to send all of its competition their new pricing list at the start of their fiscal year to let us know what they were charging with a closing line “ have a good year.” price fixing? dunno but it worked. we all matched them.I think you hit the nail on the head there. They've realized how much more they can make working together to screw us even harder. No need for competition anymore.
Supposed to be building in early summer. Fml again
