Luhr Jensen Flash Fly

I prefer the one with a can of bud attached to some hooks. Creates a nice wake that draws the tuna fishermen in for a drink.

Funny the baitrix was a steady producer last season for us yes I preferred the real thing but I found it hard to keep the doggies off so out would come the whole herring baitrix or the anchovy and they seemed to not interest the doggies but the salmon kept on biting lets see if those damn "rubber worm" work this year as well as last

ya kinda funny, really have to form your own opinion with the battrix, I never used them last year, going to giver a try for a bit this year see how it does, I think the trout size will do better then the fake chovy one.

JeffyWestCoast:-

There's the Baitrix MINI-strip...which does look like tiny strip because it is.....PNT has a number of different colored heads for those now.

Guys were using them as needle fish subs......and they do work for that.

Then there's the Baitrix trout lure......this is a small rubber fish inside a small teaser head. It's about (guessing) 3 inches long or so.

Those are supposed to work pretty good too.......

I've tried the bigger Baitrix fish and strip.........yet to catch anything on these bigger ones.

I think im going to pick one up for when the shakers are attacking my actual chovy to death.PNT is awesome but im not going all the way there for one fake chovy, wholesale sports has them and in sure chandler does too

I just mentioned PNT, Jeffy, because yes a lot of places sell the mini-strip and trout rig......but not many of them have a good selection in colors of the small heads needed for these......

But I get your logic.......Cheers.......:)

Come to think of it some days it all catches fish. Maybe someone can start a thread what gear doesn't work.
My nomination is the baitrix but I'm sure someone will put up a picture with a nice fish a baitrix anchovy special in its mouth. .......won't be my boat though
Mine either. I've never had one on my boat unless some client brings one aboard there won't be

I've found that the lures that work best are the ones I use the most. Funny thing is that the ones I hardly ever use hardly ever catch fish.:p

That is funny......but some stuff I have, I've tried over and over again with and it just doesn't work......
