How do you tell which Gen the unit is, Gen 1 or Gen 2?

Phone Lowrance, or dealer, with serial number?

Mine says Gen 2 right on it. I would guess it would be a Gen 1

Emailed Lowrance, that for the help. Will be going up for sale as upgrading to larger screen. Does anybody know what this would go for, nothing wrong with it. Unit, transducer and map.

depending on the transducer you should be looking at least
$350 - $500 for a gen 1
as the price of new stuff is so low now you can get into a dragon fly chirp for not much more

the map chip is worth $75-100 alone as they can be had from ebay gold card bundle versions

but unit looks in good condition so hope you get the higher side .....

It's a Gen1 for sure. Same as mine. Great units.

I have a Gen 2 and there is no external marking as whether it is a Gen 1 or 2.

To be absolutely certain the following will give you the correct answer.

MENU/SETTINGS/SYSTEM/ABOUT
