Does anyone know where to pick up one of these? and if so what is a good price, the cheaper the better?There may even be a rep out there that is looking to help me out!

I was recently shopping for the HD8 but haven't bought one yet. The cheapest place that I found was West Marine. There was a problem with the units not being able to read the Navionics charts but they should have a patch for that issue by now. Just make sure your unit is updated before you buy it. I think the HD5's were about $1,000 Cdn with the exchange at West.

I am selling my Lowrance HDS 5X for $350 including 50/200 kHz transducer. Unit is used, transducer hasn't been used, there was a transducer on my boat when I bought the unit. Great unit, but I want a larger display for radar. E-mail me if interested.
