Lower Mainland Boat Launch/Parking

Hi

Im looking at coming down to the lower mainland next summer and launching my boat, I was wondering where a launch with long term (up to two weeks) parking for the truck/trailer would be

Ferry Road boat launch in Ladner, is free. On road parking is free, with no time limit. Last time I was there a few years ago. High tide only launch

I’d be looking for a buddy’s house or secure storage for a two week period. I’m probably more cautious than most. In Delta a brand new boat trailer was unhooked and stolen from the ferry causeway launch. A person allegedly on drugs tried to steal a van, boat and trailer by climbing into the van on the ramp. These were years ago, but theft is probably more prevalent than ever. I was at the ferry causeway the day of the first theft, the second incident was reported in the local paper.

There’s a marina called Captains Cove, next to the launch, they might have trailer storage?
There’s also McDonald Beach, beside YVR. I believe you can add days? There’s a care taker there, and the gate gets locked at night.
