I was lucky enough to have mine break so I ordered 2 off amazon. 50 cad to my door and 45 for dodge to program Option 2 was dealer, 240 for each fob and still 45 to program. In calling around some dealers were 100 to program all the way down to 45 at wood grove chrysler. Most locksmiths have the fobs to and will program.
The BMW computerized chip keys are hellishly expensive. In Victoria there is at least one independent specialist with equipment from Germany that not only makes BMW keys but can also solve and reprogram computer problems and I assume the key-less remotes. Price Points are apparently substantially cheaper than the dealer.
