Lost a Scotty rigger lid??

Sat August 19th
Someone lose a rigger lid? Onside of highway
Bottom of Tunnel hill heading south into vic,
I was going to fast in a loaded super b to stop and get it for you

Mine loosen up all the time and are open while I’m driving down the road. Anyone have a fix for that? I’m thinking a little drop of super glue and let it dry, and maybe it will act as a wedge to keep the latch in place better

I use the rubber coated Gear Ties / wire ties to wrap around the cover when towing. I usually have 1/2 dozen of various lengths as stand equipment in my boat - works great as a hold down for a net when laid across the bow or tiring a bucket or rods down when under way. I’ve had this problem of Scotty covers popping up when towing at highway speeds, last time it cost me the internal emergency handle so now I’ll always throw a gear tie around them for travel.
