h,ave gone thru 2 module attennas ,very little used, unit is 3 yrs old, just reads module not responding just keeps flashing, new module is $250 .any help would be great?

i believe the fault is with lowrance units and not being compatible with radar, blows up something in unit. mine did same thing finally was repaired by lowrance and the cheap bast---rds still charged me. even after admitting it was their products fault see your dealer they know all about it or e-mail lowrance there is an update your dealer can try online with your machine. put me off lowrance completly.sh**typroducts will do that. mine has been fine since lowrance fixed their problem at my expense though. they even admitted in an e-mail that the machines were faulty, when someones radar was close.there is an updated antenna available though. i have one now. island outfitters were great in helping me with this problem. great service from them.

Don't give up just yet. I have the same unit and it has done it a couple of times as well. Not sure why, if it was radar as 'bee15' suggests or something else, don't know. Anyway, just unplug your unit from everything in the boat and leave it unplugged for 5 minutes. The unit will re-set itself and you should be fine. Sounds wacky, I know but worth a try.
My unit has continued to work fine after the couple of episodes that occured over a year ago.
This 'fix' has worked fine on my neighbours unit as well. He also had the same problem a few times but nothing since.

It sounds like I have been the only person that has had good service from Lowrance :)

I had the same problem with my unit, where my Furuno radar would interfere with my gps, and give me the same message (module not responding). I called them and they immediately told me what the problem was, sent me a new module free of charge as long as I sent my old module back. When they sent the new part, they included a postage sticker to send my old one back. The whole process didn't cost me a thing, and I had the part in a week.

Knock on wood, but it's worked fine ever since, and that was 3 seasons ago.
