Loomis GL2 Butt ends

I have lost a couple of my Loomis GL2 rod butt ends. Pressure from the Scotty downriggers plays havic with butt ends of rods. The stress is just too much. I sent a note to Loomis and got no response. Anyone know where I can get this replacement part in Vancouver?

I use these Fuji rubber (+ or -) caps Berry's sells them.

Just be sure they're genuine Fuji product there are cheaper ones that naturally don't last nearly as long I just noticed one knockoff I bought a few years ago is split already

You are the man....really appreciate it. I owe you are beer.....Fished Nootka last week and just killed it on Monday. We had our best day ever out there. baged 5 Springs and lost 3 others. All 18-25 lbs in 3 hours or so. Lots of big fish out there. Too bad they shut it down on July 15th. There was nothing going on in the inside. Dead at Hoiss and all the typical spots. Maybe they are late. I am back up Aug 14-19

I had the same issue with a Loomis rod in a tube type rod holder pulling off the silver metal butt cap and dropping it in the water. I was able to get an identical Loomis cap replacement from Island Outfitters in Victoria but am not gluing it on for now as I still use the rod in tube type holders. There is no problem using them without a cap other than looks.

If you use Striker rod holders there is no pressure on the butt cap.
sure has saved damage to my rods
