Looking for wire coat hangers

Has anybody else tried this? Bending up your own spreader bars using wire coat hangers. Have made quite a few this year and are loving them!
Give a nice little whip to the bait while bouncing on the waves.
Problem is they dont last very long in salt water and they are tough to find now.
Anyone know where to find them?

I bend mine out of stainless Tig welding rod. They're cheap to make and last well. Just make up a bending jig.

I did that once, but by the time you put your swivels and nice snaps on there, you have pretty much paid the same price as a stainless. I've got 'em for $3.25 each new by buying 10 at a time.
