Ok, just so we know what piece I am talking about. Out by myself this year and hooked a nice spring, got it to the boat and into the net when the net came off There I was with this piece of hollow tubing in my hand watching the net sink into the depths and the fish slowly swimming away sans hooks
. the screw holding the cap on had come out at sometime in the past and it must have been just been hanging on. Anyhow I had not noticed it and as a result I am now looking for a hoop assembly and that cap that goes on the end of the handle. In retrospect the incident was not without its light side.
