well lets see some picts and hear about the story of what happened to the boat!

not much of a story, striper fitted a bait well pump hanging off a sea **** and no support at 90 degrees, it cracked the plastic fitting and started taking on water, was spotted starting to list over at the dock, and was pulled out and taken to a marine company. where the insurance company screwed the man over. the marine company did nothing to preserve the equipment that very well could have been saved, boat was in brackish water on the columbia river

What size Striper did you buy? Are you worried about the weight of the diesel? How do's it compare to the motor that was in it? Do you need a new outdrive for the diesel?

2601 so 26'. these came from the factory with the same D4 i am putting in it, i have a complete DPH drive as well

ive always liked the 2601's. with a diesel that will be super nice. I've got a Mercruiser 377mag that Ive been saving for a project like yours, but ill likely just sell it come spring
