Looking for a used halibut spear.
Arrow head style.

No place I would rather be (FISH ON)

You can buy a new arrow head point, drill out a shovel handle and hammer in a piece of stainless rod, works great !

Lazoman is right! I used old hoe handle, drilled it out a little, epoxied and hammered in a 2 foot piece of 316 SS rod. I ground the tip very lightly to get a slight taper and added the arrow tip. Voila, done. Cost? Handle was free, arrow tip was $19.95, rod cost $8.22 including tax. Looks and works great.

To much water, too little time

Thanks guys.I like the suggestion of making your own. about 1 fourth the cost of new i would say? wolf pm me a price on the peetz if you do not mind thanks.

cheers

MI Chica.

where did you buy the replacement head. I found one so far, at Gone Fishing but they want 36.95 plus tax for it. If thats what they cost then so be it I will pay it . but i sure like the sounds of your 19.95 a lot better.

thanks: Ray
