Hi all. I was fishing for pinks from shore in Sooke, but my small boat is only good for lakes, and I'd love a chance to get a "real" salmon. Can I hitch a ride with someone in the CRD? I'm a Newf so I come with sea legs and I don't get sick. 
I only have a spinning rod with 12lb. line, so I might need to borrow a larger casting rod. I'm willing to pay, but I can't afford the charter rates - unless someone wants to take me when they want to fill the boat. Of course, I'll only need one trip to get a salmon!
