Approaching quickly...although not quick enough.
Looking forward to it once again...hopefully better fishing for those involved this year.
Ran all over the Sound last year...skunksville[:I]...I've got it figured out for this year...stay in Bamfield, wait for Osama and CS to leave the dock, then follow them around at a safe distance [8D].
Hopefully meet a few of you there this year.

What will the road in there be like around the time of the derby?
Ya figure I could get my old motorhome - towing a 19/footer - in there?
Never been there but the campground and new docks etc. sounds enticing.

Do they have a fuel-dock out there?

I don't know much about the road, I always run up the Inlet in my boat. Last year several people drove in towing their boats...I guess if it's bad you just have to go slow.
There is a fuel dock at Poett Nook, and also in Bamfield.

And for any of you guys who want to stay in a cottage for a couple nights, Osama and I are going to have Mills Landing open for the weekend. We'll probably do up a big feast dinner on Sat at the house with the guys who come up, so let us know if you want to come. Can accommodate about up to 20. Like to take you up on that offer methinks. Let Osama know I'm right interested, and will probably drag along The RoadMaster for the show.

Only thing that could hold me back would be if we were still out fishing another area. Will know with quite a lot of lead time, so consider this a YES to the invite!:D

Oh theres all kinds of girls like that out here just waiting for you grubs to arrive for the derby...

Wonder if the mother nature will be as lovely she usually is for this derby. Man she can be mean.

Should get a side pot going to. Maybey daily? Or maybey just Saturday?

Boys, we are going to do a $99/night special for those that want to stay Friday and Sat night and fish the derby. On Sat I'll have everyone up to my house at Mills Landing and we'll do up a big communal feast, listen to Nog and Osama go at, try not to stare too much at "Swillin and Killin", although that will be hard me thinks...so let me know who is in.
