Looking to line my halibut reels, need a few ideas on type of line and what lb I should put on?

I have 80 lb braided on mine, i think it's Power pro.
There is no problem winding up big fish with 80lb
and it's very thin diameter.

X2, only I run Tuff XT. No difference in makers.

the stiffer the braid the better. Better response to the rod tip. Soft braids are better for casting. Power Pro is one of the stiffer brands for sure.
