I've got the Big Chief, i ordered a new element from amazon and it didn't get as hot as the stock one, only reached 120F when its
supposed to be 165F , 26 years old gonna buy a new unit on Amazon

I have this same unit that I bought on sale at Cabelas and I like it. It holds temperature well, has quite a bit of room in it. I've done smoked salmon, chicken wings, and tons of ribs in it.

I purchased a new element for mine from Capital Iron in Victoria. That was about 3 years or so ago.

Looked at the measurements and it's bigger then the Chief which is a bonus, need to do a second run of smoke Salmon might just order this one seems pretty good... finally something with heat control after 26 years lol
