Going over to the island middle of june . Would really like some suggestions on good area's for salmon and hali fishing . Using a 18 ft. boat so can't go out to far . Fished on the island many years ago so things have probably changed alot.

lot's of great spots but you'll have to be a little more specific...

Had no specific area in mind. Travelling in a camper truck so area doesn't matter , just sdome good fishing .

The boys on the inside did well last June fishing Nanaimo north
to Bowser if my memory serves me right.
Green splatterback hootchies were the ticket.
