Best rockfish year for me in a long time. Took a few friends to a spot on my GPS, and we were always done fishing in a minute or two. Over the summer we caught several 5 lb coppers.

Gotta love those coppers, but my favourite bottomfish are the Bocassio's and the Black Rockcods around Nootka Sound. They are so good. But I never say no to a big red snapper. eman
