Lifetimer boat build. Choosing length, ride quality.

I'm about to start a boat build. Lifetimer, centre console, welded aluminum. Trying to decide between the 20.5 and the 22, both 7' bottoms. Can anyone provide feedback on ride quality? If I often fish alone, run empty, will the 22’ bounce around, feel nose-high or nose-light? I'd power the 22 with a 225, the 20.5 with a 200. Does the 22' feel like a substantially bigger boat, or is it barely noticeable? I currently run a 19.5' Lifetimer.

Thanks for the insight.

Is the one foot more from you current boat going to make much of a difference ? I would go with the 22. They should all ride fine if designed correctly .... life timer should be great. Bigger is always better.

I love my center console. I can back troll and jig so easily. So easy as I usually fish with all of my friends ... so im alone.
