Leaky windows

In October is was fortunate enough to secure year round moorage for my 20’ Hourston. It has always lived in a shed, so first season exposed to the weather. I have a pretty substantial fresh water leak into the Cuddy, and my best guess is it coming from the windows above. I’m guessing the aluminum window track is designed to be self draining? My first instinct is to caulk around the exterior of the glass but not sure if that will just create a bigger problem? Any thought or suggestions?

Thanks

In my experience with my Double Eagle the seal was broken between the glass and the frame. I popped out the outer rubber strip and then the glass and added sealant I got from a glass shop then reinstalled glass and rubber strips. Try gently pushing the glass out from inside and watch for movement and water being pushed inside when you relax the glass. The outside strip on the glass is just to retain the glass, not seal it.

The push-in black rubber gasket has shrunk back in the corners, which is also where the frame comes together. ( the “fixed/non-sliding” parts) The bottom gasket on the left is also damaged and missing some of it. Sourcing the same gasket and replacing it is an obvious start. Cut the new ones longer and push them towards the corners to allow for shrinkage.

Check the drain slots, resist the urge to caulk the bottom of the frame to the fiberglass.
