Leaders all tangled up!

Straws from McDonalds, A&W etc. cut into 1" lengths. Line curled up and stuffed into the pieces of the straws.

I started using the straw trick this year after reading it on this forum. It works great! Why didn't I think of it before!?

Foot long lengths of pool noodle with slit along length, swivel in the slit and wrap up the leader. Pipe wrap insulation is another option.

I use twist ties and make loops around two fingers and wrap the twist tie around one side of the loop by the swivel. Works fine for me. But the straw idea sounds great too I will have to try that! Whatever doesn't tangle, I'm happy

Fisherman Rob this is what found and works great. Keeps my shat straight!!

Dreamweaver tubes and box for pretied rigs. Google it.

Dreamweaver tubes are amazing - That is what I use as well..

Twist tie and Dreamweaver tube keep it more organized than anything else I have experienced, and I am pretty OCD with my gear.

Straws work great for mono leaders and did the job for me for decades, but it sure puts a lot of kinks in fluorocarbon :)

I believe PNT has or had some Dreamweavers, as that is where I got mine.

Cheers.

Thanks for the suggestions! The Dreamweaver tubes look nice, but maybe a little pricey if you have 50+ lures, and my gear budget is tight. The pool noodle is also good, but would require a separate storage box to fit. I like the straw idea because it's simple and inexpensive.

With the pool noodles, I have a small bucket they stand up in. Easy to wash and air out after as well rather than storing in a closed container/box.

I use twist ties and plumbing pipe foam insulation cut into about 1' lengths so they fit in my kit.

Can buy a 6' length of it for cheap.
