late august Milbanke sound....did anyone fish that last year in late August.....were their still cohoe and springs around

I saw one of my old neighbours take a 60+# Spring Salmon Labour Day weekend one year-then the weather turned to dirt and we couldn't leave for another day.

Coho fishing was winding down too IIRC I find mid August to be better.

I've heard mixed things about late August fishing there. Some say it's great, others not so much. Maybe check with local charters for more up-to-date info? They might have better insights on recent patterns.
