Some of the posters here know me as the guy who worked in the fishing dept @ Steveston Marine in Vancouver, well no longer.
Things had been slow all summer and yesterday I got laid off.
Treated decently enough no complaints there and in truth I was bored with the whole place.
With no dedicated fishing manager for 3 stores carrying different products/serving different markets it's no wonder sales are flagging.
One Heads Up if you're looking for a deal on a rod/reel go to the Vancouver store pick out what you want and ask for Robin the store manager and ask for his best price.
Sold a beauty of a TFO mooching rod yesterday for just 10% over cost a heckuva deal.
I want to say Thanks to all those who came in and visited and ID'ed themselves as posters here it was great to meet you all.[8D]
