Krippled K Spoons

Wow, they haven't been available for a long time so I guess he can ask what he wants,
but they were only about 3 bucks brand new.

The small chrome and green lacquer one is a winner. However 10 cents each at garage sales is a better price.

There was a thread on this a while ago and they were going for big $$ on Ebay...Krippled the stuff of legends!

I aquired about 5 sheets X 5 spoons of the KK #1 50/50 GR from Butch Macpherson several years back - originals that he had just located before I called and didn't know he had - timing is everything! I shared around and of course Bob Myers on Gabriola got some of that batch as he fished these long before I did and found they were killer when the 'young of the year' herring were around in Spring .
I took a bunch of photos of these spoons on their classic orange cardboard sheets , 2 photos attached here but they can be seen online here too in the "Images for Krippled K spoon" I wouldn't sell these for anything....well almost anything.

I also have a few other originals kicking around - including chrome both sides, orange both sides and the chrome with one side pink tape.

Very cool Greg, what size are those?
I have a bunch of the original chrome #1 and 2's I believe, soon to be 50/50 gold chrome on a few

cool

I have two pink, two orange , couples of chrome, half lime green and chrome total about 14 .. lot of size 2. I am curious what is better size 1 or 2 Krippled K ?

How long leader beside the flasher or without flasher?

I see those Krippled on the sheets all came with what looks to be a soldered or brazed split ring on them.

Kind of a lost art.......you almost never hear of anybody doing that to split rings now....although there was a thread on this last year somewhere....

They were supplied with welded ring, way better than todays split rings which can open up and cause problems.
