Holly SMOKE ! I know we liked em when they were around and tend to keep those we still have BUT ........

I just saw on E BAY a Pack of 10 #1's so far the high bid is $ 142.00 Thats insane! I hope it's not one of you guys bidding that ..... heck you can buy double that of Coyotes including the hook change and still come out better ........

If you are into reality TV, grab some popcorn and watch the show over on the buy and sell forum.....moderately amusing.

With all this fuss over them, I guess I better go and raid the old man's tackle box while he is in Palm Springs.

Hope they don't look like these ones for that price.... :) Maybe ben,t double stamped spoons are worth more. With broken and missing swivels and rings.

Haha not worth it. Watch the guy next to you throw down a 5$ coyote and outfish the Kripple 3-1. Also didn't pacific net and twine start producing something very similar at a competitive price?

Hmmmm, you might have something there Owen, this is what has been revised on the eBay site:

On 14-Feb-12 at 16:02:10 EST, seller added the following information:
***Please note: it has been observed that the spoons show some variation in the finish tone and the rigging (some with swivel and solid rings, others just split rings). They are guaranteed original Krippled Ks but possibly could be factory seconds......

Only $16.00 per spoon with shipping to Vancouver Island.... good on you Owen for bringing this up if they look anywhere remotely like what you have posted. Sooooooooooooo, why do you want them so much?

I bought them on a Buy It Now on ebay for $27 on Feb. 8th 2012. Do to the interest now in these spoons the guy is doing auction only now.

Did any one notice that some of these spoons are printed on the wrong side? and some of the are double stamped. The fact they they came from Jim Gilberts estate sale is even more interesting. Some of them are bent differently then others. Some have different styles of writing on them and different rings and swivels. I would like to know more about them and if they were test spoons as they are not new as stated they are used. If they are they factory seconds why have they been used.

how many sizes did the original Kripple K's come in? for those that still fish them to this day.... can you comment on the sizes you use?

the 3" KK (might be a little smaller than 3") has been getting a fish near every time around nanaimo/vancouver area this year for us. Nickle/brass

The TKO spoon was supposed to be a clone of those spoons I believe.....

Pac Net has TKO ....can't remember if they make the TKO in 50/50 Nickel/Brass tho'.....

Believe it or not these lures do work. The few times I've dropped one down this year it's hooked 1 or more fish.

Here are mine which I got in an old tackle box I bought cheap. Krippled K no.2

The TKO is a great reproduction of this lure. By far my fishiest lure in the box...haven't tried the bigger sizes but plan on it in July.

Run them off a fly rod with less chance of straightening them out and breaking off. Lots of fun for Cohos and ive even witnessed a 36 pounder caught off alderidge about 10 years ago by my grandfather.

Wicked lures. Wish mine were still fishable!
