Kitty Coleman/ Campell River Halibut

Im interested to here about Halibut caught around Kitty Coleman/ Campell River, i just know from the last year it seems the catches are increasing and read its because of the cod? Or is just more people going after them in certain areas around here?v Did a guy around CR catch a 100 lb one last summer?

I think it was around the 150 + mark. There have been Halibut caught in the area as per the reports at Tyee Marine. Lots of Pacific/Grey Cod around for them to feed on.

Lots of Halibut around CR I understand. I have read it on the Tyee Marine report. Go in and ask them I am sure they will tell you were they are and sell you what you need to catch them. Good Luck....
