Kitimat, Mouth of the Douglas

We are heading to the mouth of the Douglas Channel on Thursday going to spend 10 days on the hook. Otter Passage to be exact, does anyone have any info for this area.
We were there last year and did ok on salmon, found one halibut hole we did ok.
Had trouble finding crabs out there, we did catch lots around Hartley Bay and closer to Kitimat but nothing at the mouth. We did catch some snow crabs well prawning in 300 ft of water.
Any crab areas would be a great help.

Had a great week found some crab 2 hr soak 2 traps 37 keepers doesn't get any better
Had to work for the springs caught 16 over 20 lbs between 2 boats lots of smaller ones.
Very few Coho and a few pinks.
Prawning was so so.
Never did get to the spot we wanted to, Hartley Bay had no gas for 5 days so spent a lot of time cruising at 5.2 mph with the 9.9

too bad they were out of fuel. really hampers the plan. did you get to bishops bay. did you spend anytime in estevan

Hit Bishop on the way back had a nice hot tub soak, most of our time was spent around Otter Channel and Hartley Bay

Just talked to a worker from Kitimat there and the locals are all complaining bigtime that the fish are not around this year . really upsetting considering the forecasts.
