Killer Whale respect

South of Quadra Island today , about 2:50pm, this boat insisted on chasing a Whale & Calf for photos. He SHOULD NOT enjoy these "bragging rights"! If anyone knows this vessel please advise him there are regulations regarding this.

Looks like he's bird watching in that picture, where are the whales?

You're right, I did not get the pic with him in pursuit, but the hump was busy this afternoon, I'm sure we weren't the only boat that witnessed this. It just saddened us to see.

Kind of like this one last summer a Kitty Coleman, they're maybe 10 feet away. You can barely see the dorsal fin at the bottom of the boat he's that close.

I saw this performance yesterday. Called him on channel 16 no response or change in behavior. Not cool. Clearly stressing the mother & calf.
