Canadian Fishermen need to be heard. Go to www.keepamericafishing and see how seriously 60,000,000 people south of the border take fishing. All across Canada people fish - but we need a voice. Somehow our Federal government has to take us seriously otherwise our rights continue be eroded.

Nice post - interesting web site. Perhaps it is time we here north of the 49th should take a page from our friends in the south.

Including immediate family members, I figure there must be a million or more of us here in BC who are passionate about rec-fishing. Sooner or later some sagacious politician will get wise to the force that we are; conversely, those that don't - will see their political lives snuffed out at the poles!
