Just for fun let's see who can come closest to guessing the winning weight. My guess is 37 pounds 14 ounces.

28.75

Biggest so far is 34.2, according to online leader board.

An earlier thread said 700 tickets...40 weigh-ins, just over 5% caught fish? That's a big ouch, especially on ultra calm day, weather wasn't a factor. I recall this derby being a bit scratchy every year, seems to be about a month earlier than prime time. Anyone recall the results from prior years? Is the fish-to-entrant success usually less than 10%?

Bill(king coop) got 4th.

Considering I heard and saw people that didnt have a hit or a fish all weekend It was damn slow.

Great derby

Same for us. Sloooowww.
Great derby and great weather!
Good to see there were some decent fish weighed in. Just not a lot.
8 over 30 plus I heard of a few out side the derby.

Good Times Dave had a ticket but opted to take a charter on Sat am instead. His guest landed a 37. Bet his tip wasn't $25,000!

Joanne from Outfitters was with Gary Cooper. She will share in the $12,000 side bet. Good on ya JO!!!

I'll get back to you Jack. See how the week comes together. Dead tired this morning. Thanks for the invite.

Tips

My crew managed 2 fish on, one threw the hook and the other a seal help himself too. Weather was awesome, but fishing was slow. Got a great draw prize and good times had by all.

Tournament Proven !

The weather was great, the fishing was a bonus! We hit one the first day in 14 hrs of trolling and landed two out of three the next. One at Muir and the others at the bedfords. 17.9 was our largest, 14.3 the smallest.

Ron with his 14.3 that wrapped his knuckles with the ol peetz he fishes.
