Great story! Which reminds me, I was camping this summer in a bay tucked into Price Island (probably about 15 nm West from Klemptu) and while beach combing with my dog, found a boat very similar to the one in the picture. No doubt it was a tsunami refugee, but unfortunately, split in half and wedged into some huge logs
I found many blue baskets and really nice buckets scattered on beaches in Laredo Sound and Camano Sound---I took what I could to get litter off the beach but alot of the stuff I found was in good shape and usable and it's being used
My best find: a carved wooden gill net float---looks like a work of art!
