J or Circle Hooks?

Hello folks,

With halibut season fast approaching I was wondering what the preference seems to be for fishing Halibut on this board, the cirle hooks or J hooks?

I have personally fished with both and I prefer the J hooks, what about you guys?

I go with J hooks and no steel leader ,if you hang up with your hooks you lose all your gear. I use 60lb mono leader, white power grubs work great!
