At times in the past, I had "discussions" with Bob about the way the Province slagged volunteer hatchery programs . But with disgusting treatment that DFO has laid on Hooton when he has tried to get answers to questions on how DFO treats steelhead runs , I can only say that he has my full support.

Well said CL! DFO has always been very poor at communicating with it's customers, the citizens of this country. The relative silence regarding the Big Bar slide and it's impacts on last years sockeye and chinook stocks is a great example.

If this isn't akin to the fox guarding the hen house, I don't know what it is? Bob is a hero tackling this issue in a day in age of Trudeau reconciliation politics!

Every Forum member should be reading this post and recognizing that this issue needs to be addressed by our government and we need demand better.
